Gold bars that GCAP distributes are divided into 2 types:
– 96.50% purity gold : all GCAP gold bars meets the standards set by the Gold Traders Association of Thailand and have been certified by the Office of the Consumer Protection Board for their quality, which is 5 baht, 10 baht, 20 baht, 50 baht and 100 baht.
– 99.99% purity gold: size 1 kilogram are imported from leading manufacturers such as Switzerland, Australia, and LBMA (London Bullion Market Association ) which is a global standard. GCAP 99.99% purity gold size 1 kg is produced from the largest refinery in the region and has been accepted as the country’s reserve fund in the Bank of Thailand’s treasury.
A small gold bar or Gold Gift Card is a gold bar inside a pocket-sized card, printed with beautiful patterns, suitable to be a gift during various festivals or collected for investment which the starting price is an early thousand baht.
Small gold bars or Gold Gift Cards are available in the following sizes:
– Small gold bars, purity 96.50%, available in sizes of 1 gram, half Salung, 1 Salung, 2 Salung, and 1 baht.
– Small gold bars, purity 99.99%, available in sizes 1 gram, 5 grams, and 10 grams.
Trading gold bars are divided into 2 types :
– Normal gold bar purity 96.50%: the minimum amount of trading is 5 baht per transaction
– Normal gold bar purity 99.99%: the minimum amount of trading is 1 kg per transaction
– Small gold bar or Gold Gift Card purity 96.50%: the minimum amount of trading is 1 gram per transaction
– Small gold bar or Gold Gift Card purity 99.99%: the minimum amount of trading is 1 gram per transaction
It can be done in 3 ways:
1. Buy at GCAP company
2. Open a trading account with GCAP which can be traded either online or over the phone
3. Buy with the Gold Savings Program by Automatic Transfer System (ATS) which will deduct the money from your account every 1st business day of every month, where the company will buy gold every 2nd or 4th date of the month as specified by you and will purchase gold at the market price on the date of purchase.
You can contact our marketing staff. Then, we will send the application form and contract to open an account for you via mail. You can also download documents by yourself at the GCAP website where you must sign at the location specified in the contract and mail it back to the company. Afterwards, you will have to pay the collateral fee before you receive a Username + Password for trading. Within the business day of depositing money, you can be able to trade immediately.
– Copy of ID card

– Letter of consent for automatic deduction (In case the customer wants to make payment by ATS system)
– Power of attorney (In the case of authorizing another person to conduct transactions with the company on behalf of yourself)
– Transfer money (Pay-in)
– Deduct from your account ( ATS)
– Cash (pay at GCAP company)
10 per cent of the trading gold value (minimum trading gold value to be placed as the collateral fee is 5 baht)

If you want to open a trading account for 5 baht gold.
At the opening account date, the gold value is 20,000 baht per baht which means the total gold value is 100,000 baht.
You must place a minimum collateral fee of 10% of the 100,000 baht
which is equivalent to 10,000 baht per 5 baht of trading gold
Trading online and telephone trading are available Monday – Friday from 9.00 -24.00
The date T+(…) means the transaction date by counting the days after the trading date according to the number in the brackets which is the specified date for example
– If trading is made on Monday before 16.30, it will consider Monday as T+0.
– Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will be T+1, T+2, and T+3 respectively.
Therefore, if the payment due date is within T+2 and you trade on Monday, must process the payment by Wednesday.
You can deposit your gold bars with GCAP and when you would like to get your gold bars, please notify us 1 business day in advance for your convenience.
GCAP gold can be sold globally as our gold is a globalized standard and is generally known. Also, we are a member of the Gold Traders Association of Thailand. However, the gold price is depended on the gold trader whom you trade with.
You purchase gold at GCAP by cash and using the price at the time of your purchase within our business hours 09.00 – 16.30
The price of Thai gold is set by the Board of Directors of the Gold Traders Association and relied on a daily price of gold trading between the gold traders and the general person.
It is the price of GCAP relied on the Gold Spot and Exchange rate, together with the Bid/Offer price which has a narrow price difference so it generates more investment opportunity chances for you
Since the Thailand gold market is large and has a large amount of gold import-export internationally, therefore, the exchange rate of baht affects the cost and pricing of gold importers-exporters.
